The balinese dragon is very unique, most dragon in Bali wear crown and much decorated with many ornaments and elements and paint it with gold color. The Balinese artists love to make it as beautiful as possible.

As far as I know, the history of dragon in Bali derived from Indian epic of the churning of milky ocean. The art of Balinese much influenced by Indian Hindu stories. The fabrics and the umbrellas are the way of Balinese to honor the dragon as divine creatures.
